Our Story

WHO WE ARE

Soapalicious was dreamt up by Cynthia Ballard & Krystal Nguyen, AKA the Soap Sisters, as a way to reconnect with each other and their shared love of adventure during the pandemic. Stemming from their daughters’ affinity for bath bombs, and novelty soaps, Soapalicious quickly grew from a fun, stress relieving activity to a fully-fledged independent business, thanks in no small part to their friends’, families’, and community’s overwhelmingly positive reception.

MEET THE SOAP SISTERS

CYNTHIA BALLARD

Cynthia is the dreamer and holistic component to soap making. She is innovative and loves to create, which she channels into her design of the Soapalicious’ brand aesthetic and our line of essential oils. Cynthia’s a million steps ahead of the creative process, which is easy because for her, soap making is an incredibly grounding and stress relieving process. She is also the marketing & production wiz here at Soapalicious. Her radiant light shines through and adds to the love and energy in the soap making process.

KRYSTAL NGUYEN

Being in charge of Mixology and Direction when it comes to the soap making process, Krystal has a passion for solving creative problems. She is the mathematician & genius behind the science of our soaps. And since safety is our number one, she keeps Cynthia FAR out of harm’s way during the creation process. Krystal’s always one step ahead in the planning process which makes creating all the more fun, and affords Soapaliscious the ability to adapt on the fly and put her problem solving skills to the test.

WHAT WE DO

Soapalicious makes small batch novelty soaps & bath bombs that are biodegradable and made from all-natural ingredients. Our products are made with kids in mind and are entirely safe for anyone to use. We make our soaps entirely by hand but didn’t want to sacrifice affordability in the name of being a “boutique” brand.
